What I Am Most Proud of By Deb Johnson

1. I am proud that Hope kids are involved in service to others in their community. Change comes from the inside out!

2. I am proud of the several youth who graduated from high school this year despite immeasurable odds. Rahjee graduated from high school through Accelerae three years after his original graduation date! Jimmie graduated with a GED after being away from high school for 10 years. Kiera and Charles persevered and graduated this year.

3. I am proud that other agencies in the community look to the Hope Center as a place for kids to learn and grow. We are looked at as placed that employs and educates young people.

4. I am proud that we are reaching out to young men in the community that others do not see that they worth the energy.

5. I am proud that the staff at Hope persevere in bringing quality programming amongst the difficulties they encounter each day.
